Make a Plan to Vote that Works for You!
Vote in person on Election Day: Tuesday, November 3
All Wilton voters will be voting at the Wilton High School Field House (395 Danbury Road).
Polls are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
As long as you are in line by 8 p.m., you can vote, and your vote will be counted.
Remember to bring your identification.
Vote early in person: October 19 - November 1 (includes weekends)
Vote in person during the 14-day Early Voting period at the Wilton High School Clune Center (395 Danbury Road), which is the town’s designated Early Voting location.
All early voting days are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Tuesday October 27 and Thursday October 29 when hours are extended to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Once you check in, you will receive your ballot, sign an early voting log, mark your ballot privately, and insert your ballot directly into the voting tabulator.
As long as you’re in line by that day’s Early Voting closing time, you can vote, and your vote will be counted.
Remember to bring your identification.
Vote by absentee ballot: Now open to every voter
You no longer need a specific reason, such as illness or absence from town, to apply to vote by absentee ballot.
Visit MyVote.CT.gov to apply online or to download the application in English or Spanish.
You can also visit your Town Clerk’s office (238 Danbury Road) to get an absentee ballot application.
When you complete your application, include your telephone number and email if you would like your Town Clerk to contact you if you make an error.
Once your application is approved, wait for your absentee ballot to be mailed to you, or beginning on Friday October 2, you may visit the Town Clerk’s office to receive an application and the ballot for you to vote in person or take it home to vote.
You may return your ballot by mail, or in the drop box behind the Town Hall (next to the Town Hall door facing the Police Station) no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day.
If you return your ballot by mail, please be sure to mail it early, as all ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Please be sure to confirm whether you are registered to vote! You can check your voter registration with this online portal. If you have recently moved into Wilton, Same Day Registration will be available during Early Voting at the Clune Center and on Election Day at Town Hall.
Whenever you vote, be sure to bring identification.

MyVoteCT - (CT Secretary of State) portal to check your registration status, update your registration online (for example, if you've changed address), find your polling place, see a sample ballot prior to Election Day, check to see that an absentee ballot you mailed has been received, and more. CT residents who are eligible to vote and have a CT driver's license or a DMV-issued state ID can register to vote online at this site.

Wilton 2029: Plan of Conservation and Development: Adopted September 23, 2019, and Effective October 1, 2019, this report was prepared by the Town of Wilton Planning and Zoning Commission with assistance from Milone & Macbroom. This is an update to the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development, or POCD. The POCD is a guidance document that will provide a long-term vision for the Town and guide decision-making relating to growth, development, and conservation over the next ten years. The State of Connecticut requires municipalities to update their POCD every ten years.
